The entire Chiefs for Change community is deeply saddened by the death of our colleague and friend Mitchell Chester. For the past decade, Mitchell has been one of the nation’s boldest and most effective education leaders. We have all learned so much from him about how to lead on behalf of the children and families we serve. Today we’ll remember the intelligence and humor he brought to every conversation, his openness and willingness to share everything he learned over an illustrious career, and the courage with which he led and lived. Our thoughts are with his wife, Angela, and their family. Rest in peace, Mitchell.
