On behalf of the membership, Chiefs for Change CEO Mike Magee today sent a letter to U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue, asking the department to immediately extend the Summer Food Service Program and Seamless Summer Option through June 30, 2021; provide regulatory flexibility by extending related waivers; and work with Congress to secure additional funding for school nutrition so districts can continue to offer expanded meal services during the 2020-21 school year.
