Devin Fletcher is chief talent and equity officer for Tulsa Public Schools (TPS), a district with approximately 40,00 students. There, he oversees all aspects of human resources, including staff recruitment, selection, placement, and retention; learning and development; and human resource systems and operations. He also leads teacher and leader effectiveness initiatives and efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Fletcher created and implemented an equity framework for TPS as well as a district-run teacher development and certification program.

Fletcher previously served as chief learning and talent officer at TPS. In that role, he led curriculum and instruction; assessment; adult learning; exceptional student support services; language and cultural services; postsecondary readiness; teacher and leader effectiveness; and early childhood education.

Before Tulsa, Fletcher was executive director of teaching and learning for Denver Public Schools. He also worked as managing director of finance and operations at New Urban Learning, a charter management organization based in Detroit, and has private-sector experience in global strategy and finance.

Fletcher earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from the University of Texas at Austin and his master’s in educational leadership from the Broad Center.
