Dr. Margaret Crespo is area superintendent for Boulder Valley School District in Colorado and previously served as the district’s assistant superintendent for secondary school leadership.

She has more than 25 years of educational and administrative experience and has been a teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal at the secondary level. In the Thompson School District in Loveland, Colorado, she held the roles of secondary director, chief academic officer, and chief operations officer.

Crespo earned a bachelor’s in history and a master’s in counseling from Montclair State University. She received her doctoral degree in educational leadership from Arizona State University and is a member of the fifth cohort of the Future Chiefs leadership development program.
